街をひとり歩いていた。
若い外国人女性がカタコトで話しかけてきた。
「アナタ、ワタシの曲、買いませんか？」
ウォークマンのようなプレイヤーを手渡される。
好奇心に負け、イヤホンで聴いてみた。
音量不足なせいか、ピンと来るものがない。
「この曲、どうもオレには向いてないようだ」
プレイヤーとイヤホンを女に返す。
彼女はあっさり引き下がった。
そのまま彼女は仲間と一緒にレストランに入る。
ふと、ショルダーバッグがないことに気づく。
追いかけるようにレストランに入った。
ウェーターに尋ねる。すると
「あの人たちは、先に風呂へ行きました」とのこと。
呆然としていたら、テーブル席に彼らを発見。
「オレの黒いショルダーバッグ、知らないかな？」
「知らない」
諦めてレストランを出ようとした時、
背中に回っていたショルダーバッグに気づく。
引き返す。
「ごめん。ここにあった」
彼らも大いに喜んでくれた。
Shoulder Bag
I was walking alone in the city.
A young foreign woman spoke in broken Japanese.
"Why don't you buy my song?"
She hands me a player like a Walkman.
I lost my curiosity and listened to it with earphones.
There is nothing I can feel, probably
because the volume is insufficient.
"This song doesn't seem to suit me."
I return the player and earphones to the woman.
She withdrew easily.
As it is,
she enters the restaurant with her companion.
I suddenly notice that I don't have my shoulder bag.
I entered the restaurant to chase them.
I ask Waiter.
Then, "They went to the bath first."
I was stunned and found them at the table.
"Don't you know my black shoulder bag?"
"Do not know."
When I gave up and tried to leave the restaurant,
I noticed a shoulder bag around my back.
I turn back.
"I'm sorry. That was here."
They were also very pleased.
