小さな球体が集まって正四面体になった感じ。
当然、予想外の跳ね方をする。
だが、対戦相手の中国人ペアは手慣れた様子。
オリンピックの新種目なのだそうだ。
おれにはペアになる選手はいない。
国家プロジェクトに個人で立ち向かうわけだ。
ボールを変形しても体制は変わらない。
残念ながら、心はちっとも跳ねないのだった。
Deformed Ping Pong
I play table tennis with a deformed ball.
It feels like a regular tetrahedron
made up of small spheres.
Naturally, it bounces unexpectedly.
However, the opponent's Chinese pair
seems to be accustomed to it.
It's a new event for the Olympics.
I have no players to pair with.
In other words,
I personally confront national projects.
Even if the ball is deformed,
the system does not change.
Unfortunately, my heart didn't bounce at all.
