高台にて個展を開くことになった。
しかも、深夜に。
ネット経由で宣伝はしたものの
一人でも来客あればマシかな、と思っていた。
ところが、そこそこの人数が集まってきた。
しかも、美大生みたいな女子ばかり。
会場には石のオブジェが並ぶ。
ほとんど展示台のようなそれらに自作を展示。
オブジェとオブジェの間にも作品があった。
荷物みたいに無造作に置かれてある。
私の作品ではない。
どうやら来客が持参した作品らしい。
そのうちのひとつを手に取って眺める。
四次元立方体を三次元展開したような構造。
網状の面に切り貼り絵が施されてある。
私のファンであろう作者の女子が尋ねる。
「それ、いかがですか？」
「見る角度で変化する立体感が素晴らしい！」
正直な感想を述べる。
まるでコミケ会場にいる気分。
ところで、やっと気づいた。
石のオブジェは墓石に見えなくもない。
ここはまるで墓地みたいではないか。
そういえば、今夜は田舎で墓参りする日だった。
