僕が愛したそれは
言うに言われぬ変な形をしていた。
石膏細工のしくじりみたいで
大きな魚の頭の近くにある軟骨のようでもある。
そんなの捨てた方がいいよ、と
まわりの人たちは僕に忠告してくれる。
生活していく上で不利に働くであろう場合が
その形のために想定されるからだ。
でも僕はいつも、かたくなに拒否する。
そういう形なんだから仕方ないよ、と。
実際のところ、たいした形ではない。
他の形と比べ、それを選ばざるを得ないだけ。
僕のひねくれた心の隙間にはまるピースが
たまたまそんな形をしていただけ。

My Favorite Shape
That I loved it had a funny shape to say without saying.
It looks like a scrap of gypsum,
it is like a cartilage near the head of a big fish.
People around will advise me that
it would be better to throw such a thing.
It is because the case where
it will be disadvantageous in living is assumed for that shape.
But I always hardly refuse.
It is such a form that it can not be helped.
Actually, it's not much shape.
Compared to other shapes, I just can not help choosing it.
The piece that stuck in the gap of my distorted heart
just happened to have that shape.
