電車から降りて改札口へ向かう。
ただし、電車に乗っていた記憶はない。
駅構内を仲間と一緒に歩いていたから
電車から降りたに違いないと推測したわけだ。
２枚の切符を重ねて自動改札機へ挿入しようとすると
近くにいた駅員が省略して構わないという指示を出した。
そういうことも状況によってあるかもしれない。
そのまま改札を出て、切符をゴミ箱に捨てる。
ところが、さらに自動改札機のある改札口があった。
乗り換えの多い駅によくある話だ。
いかん。早まった。
あわてて引き返し、ゴミ箱から切符を拾う。
紙ゴミと一緒に切符を３枚つかんでしまった。
くそっ。２枚だったら迷わないのに。
仲間は先に出てしまった。
ええい、もう面倒だ。
いっそ目を覚ましてしまえ。
気づかないふりして、薄々気づいていたのだ。
Double Ticket Gate
