不意に電話が鳴った。
受話器を取る。
若い女の声がする。
ただし、よく聴き取れない。
「すみません。お声が遠いようですが」
どうやら会員をやめたい会員らしい。
「お名前を教えてください」
かすかに聴こえたが、心当たりない名前。
ふと気づく。
受話器が上下逆さまだ。
さらに気づく。
受話器の前後も逆さまだ。
気がかりな案件、すっかり忘れてしまった。
