エリコちゃんがスケッチブックに
エリコちゃんの絵を上手にかきました。
クレヨンでかいたエリコちゃんの自画像。
ママの手鏡を見ながら苦労してかいたので
とてもかわいらしい女の子にかけました。
それなのに、それをかいたエリコちゃんは
あまりうれしくないのでした。
スケッチブックのエリコちゃんの方が
手鏡にうつる本物のエリコちゃんより
なんだかかわいらしく見えたからです。
エリコちゃんはおもしろくありません。
エリコちゃんはぷんと怒って
スケッチブックを床にほうりなげました。
ところがそのとき、エリコちゃんは
大変な失敗をしてしまいました。
手鏡を床に落として割ってしまったのです。
しまった、とエリコちゃんは思いました。
ママのたいせつな手鏡だったからです。
スケッチブックのエリコちゃんが
手鏡を割ったエリコちゃんを見上げて
いかにもうれしそうに笑っています。
エリコちゃんは頭にきてしまいました。
スケッチブックを床からひろい上げると
黒とか灰色とか黄土色とか
きらいな色のクレヨンばかりえらんで
自画像のエリコちゃんの顔を
メチャクチャにしてしまいました。
途中でクレヨンが折れてしまったほどです。
こうして自画像のエリコちゃんは
すっかり汚れてしまいました。
いい気味だ、とエリコちゃんは思いました。
なのにエリコちゃんは泣いてしまって
なみだのせいで部屋がゆがんで見えるのでした。
いつまで泣いていてもしかたありません。
床にちらばった鏡のかけらをひとつひとつ
エリコちゃんはひろい始めました。
かけらをひろい集めて、テープでくっつけて
鏡をもとどおりにしようと考えたのです。
でも、最後のひとかけらだけは
どんなにさがしても見つからないのでした。
ですから、エリコちゃんが
つぎはぎだらけの鏡を持ち上げてみると
ガタピシャしたエリコちゃんの顔のまんなかに
指が入るくらいの穴があいているのでした。
そして、汚れたエリコちゃんの自画像が
その小さな暗い穴のむこう側に
ぽっかり浮かんで見えるのでした。

Eriko got angry and threw the sketchbook on the floor.
However, at that time, Eriko made a great mistake.
She dropped the hand mirror on the floor and broke.
Eriko thought that it failed.
It was because Mama was an important hand mirror.
Eriko in the sketchbook looks up at Eriko
who broke the hand mirror and is laughing with joy.
Eriko got angry.
She picked up the sketchbook from the floor
and picked up black, gray, yellow ocher
and other disgusting crayons,
and made her face self-portrait Eriko's face fucked.
It was enough that crayons broke along the way.
In this way Eriko's self-portrait has become totally dirty.
Eriko thought it was okay.
Nevertheless Eriko cried

She thought that she could not be helped even when she cried.
Eriko began picking up pieces of mirrors scattered
on the floor one by one.
She collected a piece of pieces, stuck with a tape,
and thought of restoring the mirror.
But no matter how she searches for her last one piece
she could not find it.
So, when Eriko picked up the tattered mirror,
there was a hole in the middle of the rattled Eriko's face
to allow her fingers to enter.
And the dirty Eriko's self-portrait appeared flickering
to the other side of the small dark hole.
