僕が逃げようとしていること
どうして彼女にわかってしまうのだろう。
「もう追いかけるの、疲れちゃった」
彼女、一丁の拳銃を僕に差し出す。

ズシリと重く、ヒヤリと冷たい。
「私は、あなたにしか見えない」
そんな気がしていた。
「私の死体も、あなたにしか見えない」
そうかもしれない。
「だから、心配しなくてもいいのよ」
僕は彼女の胸に銃口を向け
ためらいもせずに引き金を引く。
銃声と衝撃。
悲鳴と血しぶき。
痙攣したように撃ち続ける指。
穴だらけになる幻想の女。
休日の歩行者天国に
いつまでも響き渡る銃声と悲鳴。
