ミイラのファラオが甦えってしまった。
「アゲメデ、ホムルンスク、トピタ」
ひどくかすれた声でなにやら喋るのだが
なにしろ古代語なので、さっぱり意味がわからない。
「あんた、内臓ないくせに、なぜ生き返るか？」
気持ちだけでも伝わるか、と尋ねてみたら
「ヌクルデ、パピパピ、ルステホメ」
どうも伝わらなかったようだ。
「パトラクレオ、テーベストラ、カピオカ」
あんまりうるさいので
「我が仕事さまたげし者、死の翼触れるべし」
冗談のつもりで言ってみたら
「カーメン」
みるみる崩れて砂になってしまった。
信じられなかった。
ちなみに、おれの仕事は盗掘、
墓あらしである。

Ancient Tomb
This is the tomb of the royal family in Egypt.
When I was working while sweating on my forehead,
the mummy's pharaoh revived.
"Agemede, Homrunsk, Topita."
He or she speaks something with a terribly faint voice,
