楽園から追放される前に男は
こっそり命の木の実を盗んで食べた。
すると、相容れないものであったためか
せっかく食べた知恵の木の実を吐き出してしまった。
そのため男は救いようのない愚か者になり
父と兄弟を殺し、母と姉妹を誘惑して孕せた。
そもそも男には父も母もおらず
ゆえに兄弟も姉妹もいないはずなのに。
呆れ果てた妻は息子と結託して
夫である男を殺した。
しかし、命の木の実を食べた男は死にきれず
息子の子、孫として妻の腹から甦るのだった。

The Fruit of the Tree of Life
Before being exiled from paradise,
he secretly steals
and eats the fruit of the tree of life.

So the man became an unhelpful fool,
killing his father and brother and
seducing his mother and sister into pregnancy.
In the first place
he had neither a father nor a mother,
and therefore no brother or sister.
The frightened wife colluded with her son
and killed her husband.
However,
the man who ate the fruit of the tree of life
could not die and he was revived from his wife's belly
as the son's son, his own grandson.
