法事の席

大広間に親類縁者が集まっている。

みんな、黒い礼服を着ている。

どうやら法事のようだ。

すると、ここはお寺か。

旅館の宴会場かと思っていた。

ひとりの従兄がいる。

彼は迷子になっていたそうだ。

「遠くまで歩いたのに、会場に戻っていた」

特徴ある笑い声。

確かに、襖（ふすまで区切られた和室の迷路のようである。

Buddhist Memorial Service Place

My relatives are gathering in the salon.
Everyone is wearing a black dress.

Apparently it looks like a buddhist memorial service.

Then, is this a temple?
I thought it was a banquet hall of an inn.

There was a cousin.
He said he was getting lost.

"I walked far, but I was back in the hall."
His characteristic laughter.

It certainly seems like a labyrinth of
Japanese-style rooms separated by sliding doors.
