そこへ板状の流氷のような浮島が沖より現れた。
ゆるゆると近づき、ついに接岸した。
某国からの侵略に違いない、と野次馬が騒いでいる。
はて、そうだろうか。
地震でどこかの埠頭が千切れただけではないのか。
または、墜落した飛行機の破片とか。
蜃気楼みたいな目の錯覚でないとも限らない。
人は自分が思うように思ってしまうものだ。
Bridge to the Wharf
A place that seems to be a wharf in the harbor.
A floating island like a plate-like drift ice
appeared off the coast there.
