自転車に乗って夜道を進んでいた。
帰宅途中らしく、兄と一緒。

最初は兄の背後、それから前に出る。

まるで幽霊が憑依したかのように。
やがて狭い道路から広い道路へ入る。
闇を突いて対向車が接近してきた。
「あぶない！」
水しぶきをあげながら対向車の前に兄がスライディング。
対向車はすでに止まりつつあったので、兄は無事。
危険を避けるためにせよ、なんて危険なこと。
軽い危険を重くするような無駄な行為に腹が立つ。
Useless Danger
I was riding a bicycle and was on the road at night.
