電車に乗って立っている。
同じ電車に有名人が乗ってるそうだ。
せっかくの機会なので接触してみたい。
同行の助手である若い女に頼み、確認してもらう。
助手は同じ車両の端まで行き、その人物に話しかける。
よく見えないが、シートに座っているようだ。
しきりに頭の動いている様子がうかがえる。
助手は私のことを説明するだろうから
私が挨拶に行かないとすれば失礼になろう。
そう思って、そちらへ近づく。
すると、その人物も立ち上がって近寄ってきた。
「これはこれは。どうも初めまして」
そう言いながら挨拶するのは、なんと母であった。
私は驚き、母も息子と気づいて驚きの表情になる。
どこでどう間違ったのだろう。
