帰宅途中の通学電車。
そろそろ自宅の最寄り駅に着く頃。
ふと思い出す。
学用品を買わねばならぬ。
ここを乗り過ごして次の駅まで行くつもり。
そのことを学友たちにも告げる。

最寄り駅近くにも学用品を売る店はある。
しかし一旦口にした以上、取り消しにくい。
悩みつつも、最寄駅で扉が開いた。
