書斎の窓辺のカーテンが風に揺れている。
サッシの窓は閉めておいたはず。
すると、窓ガラスが割れたか。
カーテンを引き寄せる。
確かに窓ガラスが割れていた。
しかも、窓の外は駅のホームの段差。
窓のすぐ下が線路だった。
窓辺にへばりつく駅職員の男が指示を出す。
「危険なので、この窓は倒しておいてください」
これから外出するつもりなのに、困ったことだ。
