出かけるため、馴染みのサンダルを捜す。
なぜか体操着姿の女子が一緒に捜してくれる。
おそらく地元の中学に通う生徒だろう。
やっと見つけた。女子に礼を言う。
履き慣れたサンダル履いて外に出た。
異様な物体が視界に入る。
最初はワニかと思った。
よく見ると、大トカゲだった。
どうやらイグアナのようだ。
ゆっくり移動している。
これは大変。
あってはならないこと。
ひとりで捕獲する自信はない。
警察に通報しなければ。
振り返り、体操着姿の女子を捜す。
Sandals and Gym Wear
There were numerous shoes
at the entrance of the house.
Search for familiar sandals to go out.
For some reason,
a girl in gym clothes looks for them with me.
Perhaps she is a student
attending a local junior high school.
At last I found it. Thank the girl.
I went out wearing the sandals I was used to.
A strange object came into my sight.
At first I thought it was a crocodile.
Looking closely, it was a large lizard.
Apparently like an iguana.
Moving slowly.
This is hard.
That should not be.
I'm not confident of capturing it alone.
I have to call the police.
Looking back,
I search for the girl in gym clothes.
