競輪場にいるようなタイプのおっさん。
「すまんが、ライター、貸してくれんかな」
おれは点火してライターを差し出す。
たまたまズボンのポケットにあったのだ。
だが、自分の指が焼けそうな気がする。
持ち方が悪かったのだ。
それで、いったん火を消してから手渡す。
「ほらよ」
おっさんはライターを受け取る。
「悪いね」
おっさんは咥え煙草に火をつけんとする。
おれ以上に悪いライターの持ち方で。
いかにもやけどしそうだ。
Bad to Hold
An old man who seems to be at a bicycle racetrack.
"I'm sorry, can you lend me a lighter?"
I lit and presented my lighter.
