道端に積雪が白く残っている。
帰宅の途中、小さな橋を渡る手前だった。
橋の近く、本流に小川が流れ込む場所がある。
そこに乗用車が現れる。
小型の白いクルマである。
そのまま押し出されるように本流の川に落ちた。
同じ光景を目撃した記憶がよみがえる。
橋を越えて近寄り、積雪越しに覗き込む。
外国人の男が作業していた。
問いかける。
「クルマ、よく捨ててますよね」
男は言い訳する。
「他に捨てる場所がないので」
川面にはクルマだけでなく、家電もあった。
おれは怒鳴る。
「ふざけるな！
勝手に捨てていいわけないだろ。
すぐに拾い上げろ。警察に通報するぞ！」
無分別なゴミ出しをする移民に対する激しい怒り。
White Car
White snow is left on the roadside.
On the way home,
I was just over a small bridge.
There is a place near the bridge
where a stream flows into the main stream.
A passenger car appears there.
It is a small white car.
It fell into the mainstream river
so that it could be pushed out.
The memory of witnessing the same scene
comes back to life.
I approached over the bridge
and looked into the snow.
A foreign man was working.
I ask.
"You often throw away your cars, right?"
The man excuses.
"Because there is no other place
to throw it away."
There were not only cars
but also home appliances on the river.
I yell.
"Do not be silly!
Don't throw it away without permission.
Pick them up right away. I'll call the police! "
A furious anger against immigrants
who throws garbage out of their way.
