自宅の部屋で目が覚めた。
机に突っ伏したまま眠ったらしい。
振り向くと、若い女がふとんで寝てる。
昔、結婚したいと思った女だ。
ああ、そういえば。
昨夜、泊めてくれと頼まれたような記憶。
会社の飲み会でもあったのか。
気づくと、おれも隣のふとんで寝ていた。
「そろそろ起きなきゃいけないね」
彼女も目は覚めたようだ。
「そうだね」
けれど、どうも起きる気になれない。
困ったふたりだ。
