シリウス

おいら、おめめが悪いけど
　冬の夜の南天の
　　シリウスだけは見えるのさ。

洗濯しての風呂上り、
　南向きのベランダで
　　干し物してるとふと気づく。

まっ正面じゃ見えないけれど
　横というか斜めからなら
　　はっきり見える星がある。

きっとあれが有名な
　もっとも明るい一等星、
　　おおいぬ座のシリウスだ。

Sirius

I have bad eyesight,
But I can only see Sirius
In the southern sky on a winter night.

When I wash it, take a bath,
And dry it on the south-facing balcony,
I suddenly notice it.

I can't see it in front of me,
But there are stars that I can clearly see
From the side or diagonally.

Probably the brightest first-class star
That is famous
It's Sirius in Canis Major.
