落とし穴

腰が痛む。
腕も疲れてきた。

随分と深く掘ったものだ。
見上げると、空が丸く小さく見える。

いやいや。
まだまだ浅い浅い。

あの憎い奴を陥(おとしい)れるための穴なのだから。
穴の深さは、怨(うら)みの深さ。

「待ってろよ。地獄に落としてやる！」
満身の力を込めてスコップを土に刺した。

すると、足場が消えた。
土の底が抜けたのだ。

ぽっかりあいた穴に落ちてしまった。

痛いの痛くないの。
死ぬかと思った。

「おやおや。また亡者が落ちてきたぞ」

地の底から唸(うな)るような声がした。
恐ろしい声だった。

汗が冷え、寒気がしてきた。

あたりは、この世と思えぬほど真っ暗で
まるで地獄にいるような気がしてくるのだった。

Pitfall

My back hurts.
My arms are getting tired.

I dug it deeply.
Looking up, the sky looks round and looks small.

No, no.
It is still shallow.

Because it is a hole to pull that hateful guy.
The depth of the hole is the depth of grudge.

"Wait a minute, I will drop you into hell!"

I stabbed the shovel on the ground
with full of strength.

Then the scaffolding disappeared.
The bottom of the ground has escaped.

I fell into an open hole.

It was terribly painful.
I thought I was going to die.

"Oh my god, the deceased is falling down."

There was a groaning voice
from the bottom of the earth.

It was a terrible voice.

The sweat is getting cold and chills are coming.

The neighborhood is so dark that
it is unlikely to be this world
and it feels like being in hell.
