深夜、霊園の前で、タクシーの運転手が
白いワンピースを着た少女を乗せた。
か細い声で行き先を告げると
少女はそれっきり黙ってしまった。
途中、運転手がバックミラーを覗くと
後部座席の少女は前髪を垂らし
眠っているのか目を閉じていた。
しばらくして、少女が目を開くと
タクシーは暗い闇の底を走っていた。
街灯も家の明かりも見えない。
「どこですか？ ここは」
震える声で少女は尋ねた。
だが、返事はなかった。
目の前に運転手の姿はない。
なぜか運転席が、びっしょり濡れていた。

The Taxi
At midnight, in front of the cemetery,
a taxi driver carried a girl in a white dress.
When telling the destination with a loud voice,
the girl was silent.
On the way,
when the driver looked into the rear-view mirror,
the girl in the back seat dropped her bangs
and closed her eyes as if to sleep.
After a while, when the girl opened her eyes,
the taxi was proceeding deep in the bottom of the dark.
She can not see the street lights or the house 's light.
"Where is this place?"
The girl asked with a trembling voice.
But there was no reply.
There is no driver in front of her.
Somehow driver 's seat was wet too much.
