そして、それをエイっと引き下げると
彼女の裸身の右側面の皮膚がジジジジジと裂けた。

アングリと口を開けた僕の目の前に
まったく見知らぬ女性の裸身が現れた。
「もう私、あんたの彼女でもなんでもないからね」
状況が理解できなかった。
彼女の脱ぎ捨てられた皮膚が床に落ちている。
イヤリングが腰のあたりまで下がっている。
よくよく見ると
イヤリングからV字形に見慣れた二本の列が延びている。

ジッパー、またはチャック。
なんと、彼女の右耳のイヤリングは
じつは彼女の皮膚のファスナーの取っ手だったのだ。
「それ、あんたに返すわ」
素早く着衣を済ませた彼女は
寝室のドアを開けながら言い捨てる。
「また、どこかの適当な彼女に着せてやれば」
怒ったようにドアを閉めると
彼女はそのまま足音高く立ち去った。
やがて、玄関ドアを閉める音も響いた。
バカみたいに口を開けたまま僕は考える。
