その博物館へは家から歩いて行ける。
なのに、なかなか辿り着けない。
それほど遠い距離にあるわけではない。
最初、散歩の途中で見つけたのだ。
こんなありそうもないような場所に
まさか博物館があるとは思わなかった。
その時、あいにく財布を持っていなかったので
入場料を払えず、入館できなかった。
翌日、しっかり財布を持って出かけたら
どういうわけか行く道がわからなくなってしまった。
昨日と同じ道を歩いていたはずなのに
なぜか博物館が見つからないのだ。
不思議である。
結局、歩き疲れて帰宅するしかなかった。
この町へは数年前に引っ越してきたのだが
その時に買った地図を開いてみた。
だが、家の近所に博物館などなかった。
新しい地図になら載っているのかもしれないが
それほど新しい建物には見えなかった。
それとも、あえて古風に見せる設計なのだろうか。
あれこれ考えてみたが、どうもよくわからない。
もう忘れかけた頃、その博物館を偶然に見つけた。
やはり意外な場所にあったのだ。
残念ながら、休館日なので入れなかった。
その翌日、再び博物館は消えた。
まさに消えたとしか言いようがなかった。
同じ道を歩いたのに辿り着けない。
まったくもって、これはどうなっているのだ。
駅前の交番に尋ねてみた。
「この町に博物館なんかありませんよ」
その年配の警察官は断言した。
では、あれはいったいなんだったのだろう。

Mystery Museum
I can walk to the museum from my house.
However, I can not reach it easily.
It's not that far away.
First, I found it on the way of a walk.
I did not think there was a museum in no place like this.
At that time, I did not have a wallet,
so I could not pay admission and I could not enter.
The next day, if I take my wallet securely and go out,
I do not understand the way to go somehow.
I should have walked on the same road as yesterday,
but somehow I can not find the museum.
It is strange.

as I was tired from walking.
I moved to this town several years ago,
but I opened a map I bought at that time.

in the neighborhood of the house.

The next day, the museum disappeared again.

I can not reach it though I walked on the same road.

I asked the police box in front of the station.
"There is no museum in this town."
The elderly policeman affirmed.
