板の大きさは畳一枚分くらいか。
漆塗りの黒い木製のお盆を連想させる。
上方から寿司のシャリであるか、または
パチンコ玉のようなものが落下する手はずになっている。
作業の途中、なんとなく改善の余地を感じる。
大胆に刺し身の配置を変えたい気分。
色からしてマグロであろうところの
魚の切り身を粘土のように扱って弧を描く。
「あら、あんなんで大丈夫なの？」
仲間たちは聞こえよがしに勝手なお喋りをしている。
はて、この原型はどんなものであったか？
どうも設計に対する自信が失われつつあるようだ。

Sashimi's Pachinko
I am arranging sashimi on a black plate tilted
while being watched by the warm eyes of my colleagues.
Is the size of the board about one tatami mat?
Reminiscent of a lacquered black wooden tray.
It is supposed to be sushi's shari from above,
or something like a pachinko ball will fall.
I feel room for improvement somewhat in the process.
Feeling boldly to change the placement of sashimi.
I draw an arc by handling the fillet of fish
like color like clay like a piece of tuna.
"Oh, is that okay with that?"
My friends talk chatting without hesitation.
What was this prototype like?
It seems that confidence in design is being lost.
