Drawing Thread
I sleep at home and wake up before dawn.
A white thread comes out straight
from the backpack of my baggage.
It goes through the entrance of a Japanese-style room
where a Buddhist altar is sleeping and extends
to a cold and dark corridor.
In the meantime, it has disappeared into the chest of the room
not even remembered looking down the spiral staircase
which makes a half turn.
I asked my mother who appeared abruptly.
"Who did this?"
She says the culprit is anyone in the neighborhood.
I can not identify a person even if it is indicated by a shop name.
Disagreeable. First of all, it is strange.
Even if we are asleep, no one can not notice him
if it makes me intruder like this work.
Someone draws a thread from within the chest
as if answering such inner question.
