一枚の書類を用意して窓口に提出した。
手続きのために必要だから。
すると、書類に不備があると指摘された。
区切られた狭いスペースに同じ情報を
会社名と所在地を四つも記入しなければならない。
それは活字だが、当然、文字は小さくなる。
拡大しても読めないコピー用紙が近くに置いてある。
使えないから再提出しろ、とのこと。
「ふざけるな！」おれは怒鳴る。
「狭いスペースに同じ内容を四つも書かせるのが悪い」
受付嬢はびびる。
ここの所長らしき太った女が奥から現れた。
「とにかく、これでは使えません。再提出してください」
「大きく一つ書かせ、それをそっちで使い回せば済むのに
こっちで小さく四つ書かせて横着するからだ」
別の女職員が独り言のようにつぶやく。
「私も今まで変だなと思っていたのですが、よくわからなくて
これでやっと正しい解決方法がわかりました」
所長は反論もできず、その悔しがること。
