子どもたちと山を歩いていた。
ちょっと下ると、川が流れていた。
その浅瀬に赤い石が転がっていた。
白っぽい縞のある紺色の石も近くにあった。
「これは蛇紋岩 だな」
男の子が問う。
「どうして蛇紋岩て言うの？」
「ほら、この縞模様が蛇の皮みたいだし
このあたりなんか蛇の目のようじゃないか」
「ああ、ホントだ」
なぜか赤い石は見当たらなくなった。
どうやら流されてしまったらしい。
それから、皆で川の中にある大きな岩へ渡る。
「なんだか泳ぎたくなっちゃった」
女の子が脱衣してスクール水着姿になる。
嬉しくなって、一緒に水の中に入る。
やがて川は海のように広がり
洪水で侵食された町の様子が見えた。
その町の時計台から友人が飛び込み、泳いで来る。
あわてて背泳ぎで逃げる。
なかなかなスピード。
楽しいな。
Serpentine
I was walking on the mountain with my children.
A little down, the river was flowing.
A red stone was rolling in the shallows.
Amber stones with whitish streaks were also nearby.
"This is serpentine."
The boy asks.
"Why do you say serpentine?"
"Hey, this stripe pattern looks like a snake skin,
isn't it like a snake eye here?"
"Oh, it's really."
Somehow the red stone was missing.
Apparently it has been washed away.
Then we all went to the big rock in the river.
"I just wanted to swim."
A girl undresses and becomes a school swimsuit appearance.
I'm happy and get into the water together.
Before long, the river expanded like the sea,
and I could see the appearance of the flooded town.
A friend dives from the clock tower of that town
and comes swimming.
I rush away and run away with a backstroke.
It's quite fast.
It's fun.
