「カードを貸してくれんか」
社長から頼まれた。
会社経営が苦しいのだろう。
ずいぶん世話になったので断れない。
「いいですよ」
100万円くらいまでなら仕方ないか。
財布を開いてクレジットカードを手渡す。
「どうぞ」「すまんな」
財布の中に折りたたんだ書類があった。
「これも使えますかね？」
「ああ、これも一緒に清算した方がいいな」
社長、営業部長と一緒に金融機関の窓口へ。
受付嬢に書類について問い合わせる。
「これは早めに清算すべきですね」
それで、その書類を窓口に提出した。
「ブートー」
手続きを先に済ませた社長の声がする。
意味不明だが、外から私を呼んでいるようだ。
再び呼ばれたくないので急いで出よう。
しかし「ブートー」
受付嬢が笑う。超恥ずかしい。
