ハンドルのところに引っ掛かっているものがあった。
なんとなく弁当かな、などと思う。
弁当ならこっそり食べてしまえ。
取り外そうとしたら、手もとが狂った。
それは弁当ではなく、コンデジのカメラ。
ハンドルに引っ掛かったままストラップが伸びて
本体が小川の水面にまで届いてしまった。
まずい。やばい。
カメラが濡れたら、きっと使えなくなる。
そこへ年配の男性社員がクルマで到着。
「なにしてるんだ？」
「いや。あの、カメラを使おうと思って」
下手な言い訳をしてしまう。
たとえこの場をごまかせても、どうせ
あとでカメラの持ち主にばれるはずなのに。
