かつて題名が話題になった小説。
権威ある文学賞も受けている。
夢中になって読んでいたと思う。
その本の見開きに虫がとまった。
ハエでも蚊でもない変な虫だった。
ページの上を六本脚で這う。
地へ下りたり、天へ上ったり。
喉に寄ったり、小口へ迫ったり。
それを見ているとおもしろい。
小さいのによくできている。
主人公の恋人の名を平気で踏む。
ときどき立ち止まったりもする。
この虫も迷っているらしい。
どこかの駅に到着して扉が開く。
扉に近づき、虫に息を吹きかける。
本の端にしがみついて離れない。
三度目でやっと虫は本から消えた。
扉が閉まり、窓の景色が流れた。

Book Worm
I was reading while being shaken by the train.
