人類は絶滅していた。

自動制御の介護ロボットが親切に教えてくれた。
空気は悪くない。
出された食事にも不満はない。
「どうして絶滅したんだ？」
「種の寿命だそうです」
老衰のようなものか。
「おれは不治の病だったはずだが」
「凍ったまま眠っているうちに自然治癒してしまいました」
なるほど。
そういうこともあるかもしれない。
「この建物の外に出たいのだが」
「出ると死にます」
「外を見るだけでもいいのだが」
「見ると死にたくなります」
なるほど。
すべて予測可能というわけか。
「でも見たいな」
「それでは」
ロボットが指示を出したのだろう。
窓に相当する壁の大型スクリーンが開いた。
なるほど。
ロボットは正しい。
おれは死にたくなった。
Refreshing Awakening
When waking up from a long long cold sleep,
humanity was extinct.
"You are the last person in existence."
The care robot of automatic control taught me kindly.
The air is not bad.
There is no dissatisfaction with the food given out.
"Why did humanity go extinct?"
"It seems to be the life of the species."
Is it like old age?
"I should have been an incurable disease?"
"You've been cured naturally while sleeping asleep frozen."
I see.
There may be such a thing, too.
"I want to get out of this building."
"You die when you go out"
"I just need to look outside."
"If you look at it you will want to die."
I see.
Everything is predictable.
"But I want to see it."
"Well then"
The robot probably gave instructions.
A large screen on the wall,
which corresponds to a window, has opened.

The robot is correct.
I wanted to die.
