私は宇宙飛行士。
カモメではない。
地球周回軌道上の有人人工衛星
いわゆる宇宙ステーションの中にいる。
現在、私の生活空間は、ほぼ静止しており
ぼんやりと風船みたいに赤道上空に浮かんでいる。
無重力に浮遊しながら、私は考える。
まったく、こんなところで
いったい私は何をやっているのだろう。
互いに等速度で運動する慣性系において
光源の運動状態に係らず光速は一定であるという。
しかしながら、わずかなりとも光にはエネルギーがある。
だからおそらく、エネルギーのない光のようなもの
そのように仮想される何かの速度が一定なのだろう。
そしてそれは、この宇宙そのものの性質や状態を
表さないまでも暗示しているに違いない。
さらにまた考える。
ある瞬間とそれに続くように感じられる次の瞬間との間に
もし仮に切れ目のようなものがあったとする。
さて、その場合、その時間の隙間のようなものを
私たちが感じる、または計測することは可能だろうか。
時間とはなんだろう。
そもそも、宇宙とはなんだろう。
また、なぜこんな宇宙があるのだろう。
もし意識できなければ
私たちは宇宙の存在に気づきもしない。
ならば、意識できない宇宙も存在するのだろうか。
いつ、どこに････
こんなどこでもないところにいると
こんなとりとめもないことばかり考えてしまう。

High Place
I am an astronaut.
I am not a gull.
I am in a manned satellite on earth orbital,
the so-called space station.
Currently, my living space is almost stationary,
and it floats in the sky above the equator like a balloon.
While floating in weightlessness, I think.

I wonder what on earth I am doing.
In an inertial system that moves at equal speeds,
the speed of light is constant irrespective
of the motion state of the light source.

without light, something so imagined will be constant.

and state of the universe itself.

or measure something like the gap of that time?
What is time?
First of all, what is the universe?
Also, why is there such a universe?
If we can not be conscious,
we will not notice the existence of the universe.
Then, is there a universe
that can not be conscious as well?

When I am in such a place where
I can not go anywhere, I will think
about just such a thing without such a rambling.
