まだ夜明け前だった。
二階の窓から出て小屋根を渡り
はしごをのぼって大屋根の上にあがった。
きれいな流星の雨が降っていた。
「宇宙旅行をしたい」
願い事を三回つぶやいてみた。
すると、一つの流星の軌道が曲がった。
白い光の玉がだんだん大きくなる。
身動きできないまま視界が真っ白になった。
気づくと、大きな岩の上にいた。
というか、これは小さな星なのだろう。
飛ぶように宇宙空間を進んでいるところだった。
どちらを向いても星くずだらけ。
地上から見上げる星空とは比べものにならない。
だが、のんびり見とれてる場合ではない。
宇宙服を着てないのに、なぜか息苦しくなかった。
ああ、死んでしまったのだな。
そう思った。
無邪気に願い事なんかするんじゃなかった。
まあ、今さら後悔しても遅い。
せっかくだから宇宙旅行を楽しもう。
乗り物の岩は望むままに移動してくれる。
ロケットよりよっぽど便利だ。
いわゆる星形の星が金色に輝いていた。
近づいて横から見ると、厚みがなかった。
不自然なので、着陸して調べてみる。
やはり金色の色紙でできた折り紙の星だった。
クリスマスだったか七夕の飾りだったか
こんなの作った記憶がある。
ははあ、これは夢だな。
そう思った。
隕石にぶつかって気を失ったのだろう。
それなら目覚めるまで星めぐりを続けてやれ。
宇宙には珍しい星が星の数ほどもあった。
コンペイトウの形をした甘い星。
たれ落ちる水滴のように見える水の星。
追いかけると逃げてしまう星。
踊る星や笑う星もあった。
踊り疲れた星や笑い疲れた星も。
宇宙より大きくて宇宙からはみ出した星。
それは宇宙の果てにある壁紙の絵かもしれない。
その壁紙の穴から見える星もあった。
小さいけれども青くて美しい星。
その星を手で捕まえようとして失敗した。
穴から腕を伸ばしたら、壁紙が破れたのだ。
そのまま宇宙の果ての向こう側に落ちた。
気がつくと、晴れた空がまぶしかった。
つまり、屋根の上で目が覚めたわけだ。
なんだ、やっぱり夢か。
ちょっとガッカリした。
「なんで？ どうして？ なにしてるの？」
幼なじみの女の子の声と顔だった。
彼女は裸足で屋根の上にのぼってきた。
「なんで、おまえがここにいるわけ？」
さっぱりわけがわからない。
「ふざけないで。こっちが聞いてるのよ」
本気で怒る彼女。
向こうを見ると、垣根越しに我が家があった。
ははあ、なるほど。
わけがわからないまま理解できた。
ここは隣の彼女の家の屋根の上だったのだ。
「いったい、どういうつもりなのよ」
色白の丸い顔がだんだん近づいてくる。
どこにも逃げ道はない。
願い事を早く言わないと････
突然、頭の中が真っ白になった。

Star Tour
It was still before dawn.
I went out of the window on the second floor,
crossed the small roof,
and climbed the ladder to the top of the large roof.
It was raining a beautiful meteor.
"I want to travel in space."
I tweeted my wish three times.
Then, the orbit of one meteor was bent.
The white ball of light gets bigger and bigger.
My field of vision turned white
without being able to move.
I found myself on a big rock.
Or rather, this is a small star.
I was about to fly through outer space.
No matter which way I look, it's full of stardust.
It is incomparable to the starry sky
looking up from the ground.
But I'm not the case when I'm laid back.
Even though I didn't wear a space suit,
I wasn't suffocating for some reason.
Oh, I'm dead.
I thought so.
I didn't make a wish innocently.
Well, it's too late to regret it now.
Let's enjoy space travel
because it is a great opportunity.
The rocks of the vehicle move as I wish.
It's much more convenient than a rocket.
The so-called star-shaped star was shining golden.
When I approached it and looked at it
from the side, it was not thick.
It's unnatural, so I'll land and check it out.
After all it was an origami star
made of golden colored paper.
Whether it was Christmas or Tanabata decoration,
I remember making something like this.
I see, this is a dream.
I thought so.
I must have hit a meteorite and fainted.
Then I will continue to go around the stars
until I wake up.
There were as many rare stars
in the universe as there were stars.
A sweet star in the shape of a sugar plum.
A water star that looks like a dripping drop of water.
A star that runs away when chased.
There were also dancing stars and laughing stars.
Some stars were tired of dancing
and some were tired of laughing.
A star that is larger than the universe
and extends beyond the universe.
It may be a wallpaper picture
at the end of the universe.
Some stars could be seen through the holes
in the wallpaper.
It's a small but beautiful blue star.
I tried to catch the star by hand and failed.
When I stretched my arm out of the hole,
the wallpaper broke.
I just fell to the other side of the universe.
When I noticed, the clear sky was dazzling.
In other words, I woke up on the roof.
What is it, after all a dream?
I was a little disappointed.
"Why? Why? What are you doing?"
It was the voice and face of a childhood friend.
She climbed barefoot on the roof.
"Why are you here?"
I don't understand at all.
"Don't be silly. I'm listening to you."
She gets really angry.
Looking over there,
I found my house over the fence.
I see.
I could understand it without knowing why.
This was on the roof of her house next door.
"What on earth are you going to do?"
Her fair-skinned round face is getting closer and closer.
There is no escape route anywhere.
I have to make a wish early.
Suddenly, the inside of my head turned white.
