ありとあらゆるものが運ばれてゆく。
美しく、いかがわしく、危険なものまで。
この運河がなければ大陸を迂回するしかない。
想像しただけで、吐き気とめまいがする。
誰が運河を作ったのか、いまだ謎のままだ。
「昔ね、幼い神様が砂遊びをしたのよ」
そんな母の話を信じていた頃があった。
この砂の海しか知らない船乗りにも。
青い星が昇る。
わが祖父の星、水の惑星。
火のように燃えるこの赤い星の夜空に。

The Canal
Many foreign boats cross the canal.
Everything is carried.
Beautiful, disgusting, dangerous things.
Without this canal, we can only bypass the continent.
Just imagining, I feel nauseated and dizzy.
It remains a mystery as to who created the canal.

when I believed such a story of my mother.
It is also a sailor who knows only the sea of this sand.
A blue star rises.
The star of my grandfather, the planet of water.
In the night sky of this red star burning like fire.
