ここは教室。
赤いしずくが床に垂れている。
見上げると、天井の隙間から赤い布がはみ出し
そこからポタポタしずくが垂れていた。
教師が教科書を朗読していたが
赤い布が気になり、授業に集中できなかった。
「さて、続きは誰に読んでもらおうか」
教師の気配を背後に感じた。
いかにもやさしそうに肩を叩かれる。
「ええと、ここまで読んだんですよね」
確認のため、自分の教科書を指で示す。
教師も手持ちの教科書を指で示す。
「ここまで読んだ」
ページ数も位置も合っていたが
あいにく教科書そのものが違っていた。
天井の赤い布から赤いしずくが
教師の頭にポタポタ垂れ落ちている。
やがて、教師の前髪からも垂れ落ち始める。

それでも教師は気にならないようだ。
Red Drops in the Classroom
This is a classroom.
Red drops are dripping on the floor.
When I looked up,
a red cloth protruded from the gap in the ceiling, a
nd a drop dripped from it.
The teacher was reading the textbook,
but I was worried about the red cloth
and could not concentrate on the lesson.
"Who will read the rest?"
I felt the teacher's sign behind me.
He struck my shoulder so kindly.
“Well, you have read so far, right?”
I show my textbook with my finger for confirmation.
The teacher also points to the textbook on hand.
"I have read so far."
The number of pages and the position were correct,
but unfortunately the textbook itself was different.
Red drips from the red cloth on the ceiling hang down
on the teacher's head.
Eventually, it begins to sag from the teacher's bangs.
