最近、カラスが増えたような気がする。
真っ黒な姿。不吉な鳴き声。
鋭い目とくちばし。
ゴミ置き場を漁っていたりする。
むやみに生ゴミを捨てるからだろうか。
帰宅の途中、カラスの羽を拾った。
とても大きくて美しい羽だった。
捨てるのが惜しかった。
でも、それを飾る場所が見つからない。
悩んだ末、鉢植えの土に挿し
そのままベランダに置いておいた。
やがて、その羽が膨らんできた。
おかしなこともあるものだと思った。
ある朝、カラスの鳴き声で目が覚めた。
鉢植えに一羽のカラスが生えていた。
なるほど、カラスが増えるわけだ。
