同級生が彼女のことをほめている。
「カラスの頭を撫でることができるんだよね」
教室のすりガラスの窓にカラスらしき鳥の影が映る。
同級生のひとりがそっと窓を開ける。
カラスらしきものは、しかし、縮れた白黒の二毛で
むしろ変な形の子犬を連想させる。
すぐにどこかへ飛び去ってしまったが
窓を閉めるとすぐに戻ってきて窓に姿を映す。
僕も窓を開け、二毛のカラスに触れてみた。
カラスは逃げずに頭を撫でさせてくれる。
それでちょっと得意になった。
こいつは空を飛べるみたいだが、どうも
カラスとは違う生き物のような気がする。

Double-Haired Crow
Her classmate praises her.
"She can stroke the crow's head."
The shadow of a crow-like bird is reflected
in the frosted glass window of the classroom.
One of my classmates gently opens the window.
The crow-like thing, however,
is a frizzy black-and-white double-haired,
rather reminiscent of a strangely shaped puppy.
It quickly flew away,
but when he closed the window,
it soon came back and reflected in the window.
I also opened the window
and touched the double-haired crow.
The crow didn't run away
and let me stroke her head.
That made me a little good at it.
It seems that it can fly in the sky,
but it feels like a creature different from a crow.
