近所を歩いてたら、塀の上にカラスがいた。
変な鳴き声で、妙に人懐っこい。
そのカラスが不意に騒ぎ出した。
塀の上に男が現れ、カラスを攻撃し始めたのだ。
変な奴がいるものだと思った。
その数日後、知り合ったばかりの青年と歩いていた。
あのカラスが塀の上にいた。
すると、青年は予告もなくカラスに襲いかかった。
ああ、そうか。あの男はこの青年だったのか。
「どうしたんだ？」
「こいつが大事な花を食べるんだ」
あぶない奴と知り合いになったものだ。
本人には言えないが、後悔しきり。
Crow Disaster
When I walked around the neighborhood,
there was a crow on the wall.
With a strange cry, it is strangely friendly.
