腹を解剖バサミで切り開かれ
そのまま皮を広げられ
寝台の両端にピンで留められている。
執刀者はマスクをした女。
その切れ長な目に見覚えがある。
「どうして血が溢れないのでしょう？」
迷惑にならぬよう小声で女に話しかけてみる。
「それはね、血抜きしてあるからよ」
意外と優しい人かもしれない。
腹の中から様々なものが取り出される。
ペンライト、馬蹄磁石、天体望遠鏡。
「これ、何かしら？」
ピンセットでつまんだものを見せつける女。
思わず赤面してしまう。
血が抜かれているのに不思議な事。
「なんでもありません」
「本当になんでもないの？」
「本当になんでもありません」
それがなんなのか
知られているような気がしてならない。
「あら、そうなの」
それを足もとのバケツの中へ投げ捨てる女。
話題を変えなければならない。
「麻酔はしないのですか？」
「あら、もう忘れたの？
あんなに太い注射、お尻にしたでしょ」
たしかに痛みは感じない。
痛みとともに記憶も消されたのだろうか。
「見つけた！ こんなに爛れてる！」
眉間にしわを寄せる女。
「そんなにひどいのですか？」

患部に解剖バサミの刃を当てると
いかにも汚らわしそうに目をそらし
それを完全に断ち切ろうとして
女は歯を喰いしばった。
Dissection Scissors
