公園で子どもが石蹴りをしている。
地面に丸や四角の線を引き
石を蹴りながら片足になったり
歌ったり笑ったりしている。
石なんか蹴って、いったい子どもは
何が楽しいというのだろう。
ふと見下ろすと、俺の足もとに
蹴りやすそうな石が落ちていた。
なんとなく俺は
それを蹴っ飛ばしてみた。
石は弧を描いて空中を飛び
見知らぬ奥さんの後頭部に当たった。
「ゴッツン！」
そのままバタリと地面に倒れる奥さん。
とんでもないことになってしまった。
「すみません！ 大丈夫ですか？」
いくら呼んでも反応しない奥さん。
うつぶせのまま顔が地面に埋まっている。
くすぐろうか抱き起こそうか、俺は一瞬迷い
それは失礼ではないか、などと考えているうちに
突き出ていた尻をつい蹴ってしまった。
「痛い！」
奥さんのくぐもった声。
左右に揺れる尻。
ああ、よかった。
まだ生きている。
嬉しくなって俺はもっと強く尻を蹴った。
「痛い！」
左右に大きく揺れる奥さんの尻。
これだ、これ。
これこそ大人の楽しみ。
ああ、尻蹴りは楽しいな。
