つづら折れの坂道を上ると
そこは深い山の中。
セミや鳥が鳴き騒ぐ。
木々が肩組み、立ち並ぶ。
空は青く、葉は緑。
雲は横に、樹皮は縦。
やがて坂道はゆるやかに
とぐろを巻き始め
目がまわる頃、山頂に着く。
そこは空の上。
道は下へと続く。
ただし、その道
今はもう、そこにあらじ。
はるか遠き
思い出の道ゆえ。
たとえ、よく似た道
まだそこに残るとしても。

Road of Memories
When you go up the winding slope,
you will find yourself in a deep mountain.
Cicadas and birds roar.
Trees line up with shoulders.
The sky is blue
and the leaves are green.
The clouds are horizontal
and the bark is vertical.
Eventually,
the slope slowly begins to wind up,
and when you turn your eyes,
you reach the summit.
It's above the sky.
The road continues down.
However, the road is no longer there.
Because it's a distant road of memories.
Even if a similar road still remains there.
