古都の秋

紅葉の季節に古都の街並み歩めば　
観光地らしう雅(みやび)な琴の音(ね)聞こゆ　

「ひさしぶりどす」
「おいでやす」

なにはとまれ馴染(なじみ)の老舗(しにせ)旅館に泊り　
芸者太鼓持ちなんぞ呼んで騒ぐぞかし　

「ここはどこどす？」
「ここは古都どす」

きっぱり散らば潔(いさぎよ)いに散らぬゆえ　
公家(くげ)神官(しんかん)陰陽師(おんみょうじ)琵琶(びわ)法師(ほうし)やら徘徊(はいかい)す　

「ほなさいなら」
「おおきに」

Fall in the Ancient Capital

If you walk along the streets of the ancient capital
during the autumn leaves season,
you can hear the sound of the elegant koto
that seems to be a tourist destination.

"Long time no see."
"Welcome."

Anyway, stay at a familiar old-fashioned inn,
and call a geisha and taiko drum, etc. to make noise.

"Where is here?"
"This is the ancient capital."

Because it is scattered clearly but not scattered,
public houses, shinto priests, Yin Yang master, biwa lawyer
and so on are wandering around.

"Well then good-bye."
