今日は魚が降ってる。
メダカほどの小魚がほとんどだが
たまにタイやヒラメ、カツオなんかも降ってくる。
庭に出て、池に落ちたサンマを三尾ほど拾う。
地面に落ちたやつより損傷が少ない。
それに、丸ごと煮るだけのサンマ料理なら簡単だ。
とりあえず水道水でよく洗ってから
大型冷蔵庫に保管する。
滅多にスーパーで買い物しないのに
冷蔵庫の中は満杯だ。
先月降った豚の一部が
まだ冷凍室にたくさん残っている。
もう肉類は十分だから
そろそろ野菜とか降らないかな。

Fish Falls Day
The fish are falling today.
Most fish are as small as medaka fish,
but sometimes sea bream, flounder,
and bonito come down.
I went out to the garden
and picked up about three saury
that fell in the pond.
They are less damaged than those
that fell to the ground.
And it's easy to cook saury just
by boiling it whole.
For the time being,
wash them well with tap water
and store them in a large refrigerator.
I don't often shop at supermarkets,
but the refrigerator is full.
A lot of pigs that fell last month still remain
in the freezer.
I have enough meat,
so I wonder if it's about time for vegetables.
