いらない商売が増えたような気がする。
セールスぎらいな私の気のせいだろうか？
もしそれが必要とされる商売なら
わざわざ売り込まれなくてもこっちから探す。
もし必要でないとしても便利な商売なら
気が向けば使ってみるかもしれない。
もし必要でも便利でもない商売なら
たとえ売り込まれてもいらない。
無駄使いできるほど地球上に余裕ないから。
時代にそぐわなくなった商売もあろう。
時代を追い越している商売もあるかもしれない。
だが、一番ありそうな理由は
とにかく商売しないことには己が食えないから。
限られた市場におけるパイの奪い合い。
なんだかんだ言い訳したところで、まさにそれ。
その商売の社会における必要性や利便性は二の次。
最悪、詐欺でも暴力でも博打でもかまわない。
表現として身も蓋もないが、これはつまり
いらない人間が増えたせいではなかろうか？

Unnecessary Business
I feel that
the number of unnecessary businesses has increased.
Maybe it's my fault of sales?
If it's a business that needs it,
I'll find it, even if it doesn't bother me.
If I don't need it and it's a convenient business,
I might try it if I'm interested.
If the business is neither necessary nor convenient,
I don't need it, even if it is sold.
We can't afford to waste on Earth.
Some businesses may no longer be suitable
for the times.
There may be businesses
that are outpacing the times.
But the most likely reason is that
they can't live by not doing business anyway.
Compete for pies in a limited market.
Who made the excuse, and that's exactly why.
The necessity and convenience
of the business society are secondary.
At worst, it can be fraud, violence, or smashing.
It cannot be saved as an expression,
but is this probably
because more people are not needed?
