さっきまでふぶいていた。

はげしくて冷たくて、死にそうだった。
でも、今はもうおだやかであたたかい。
さっきまでの苦痛がうそのようだ。
冬山の天候は変わりやすい。

いままでふぶきのために動けなかったのだ。
だけど、なんだか眠くなってきた。

こんなに雪があたたかいとは知らなかった。
あたたかい雪まじりだから、風もあたたかい。

そうか、ふぶきはやんでなかったのか。
やんでなくてあたたかくなっただけなんだ。

どうして気がつかなかったんだろう。

もう少しだけあたたまったら立ち上がろう。
立ち上がったら、頂上をめざすんだ。
それまで十分にからだをあたためておこう。
