廃番になったパソコンを店頭展示品で安く買った。
ところが半年ほどで故障してしまった。
ポインタが挙動不審で使えない。
タッチセンサーのディスプレイもおかしい。
ハードの故障であろうということで
専門店経由でメーカーに修理を依頼した。
ところが、なかなか戻ってこない。
待ちかねた頃に連絡が入る。
調べたところハードに支障はない、と。
どうやら基本ソフトをアップグレードしたため
システムとして不具合が出たらしい。
ソフトの修理は有料となり
期間中でもメーカー保証は効かない。
なんだかんだ交渉の末、やっと戻ったら
おかしなパソコンになっていた。
ヴァーチャルリアリティとでも呼ぶのか
画面の中に美女が現れ、文字表示しながら喋る。
「まず、このパソコンのセットアップをしましょう」
笑顔と美声で、あれこれ指示する。
「ダメです。そんなパスワードは受け付けません」
どうやら人工知能を搭載しているらしい。
「あなたは、なにをしたいのですか？」
瞳を輝かせながら選択を迫る。
なるほど、確かにそうだよな。
パソコンの機能、あまりに複雑になりすぎた。
このまま素人に任せておくと不具合だらけになる。
プロ棋士にも勝つという人工知能の判断力
範囲を限れば平均的な人間のそれを上回るだろう。
「はい。このブログの更新をしましょうね」
