友人と一緒に逃げている。
工場か学校のような大きな建物の中。
遠くから靴音が響く。
おれは弱気になっている。
「諦めよう。そも逃げる必要なんかない。
仮に必要あるとしても、いずれ捕まるよ」
靴音が近づいてくる。
おあつらえ向きな出入り口を発見。
そこから隣の棟へと続く渡り廊下を進む。
床下のような位置にわずかな空間があった。
「そこに隠れよう」
友人が先に飛び込む。
おれも続いて飛び込むが、あまりにも狭い。
隠れる寸前、追っ手に見つかったかも。
仮にまだ見つかっていないとしても
ここまで来たら必ず見つかる。
だんだん靴音が近づいてくる。
頭の中にまで響く。
落ち着きない鼓動のように響きわたる。

The sound of shoes echoes from a distance.
I'm bearish.

the corridor leading to the next building.

in a position like under the floor.
"Let's hide there."
The friend jumps in first.
I jump in after him, but it's too narrow.
