細長い廊下のような自宅。
玄関チャイムが鳴った。
誰か来たらしい。
出ようとすると、兄が立ちふさがる。
「よせ。危険だから出るな」
そうかもしれないが、用心ばかりしていたら
いつまでも出られないことになってしまう。
「いや、出るよ」
ドアを開けると、誰もいない。
なんだと思って、ドアを閉めようとすると
男が現れ、なにやらドアに細工する。
「なにをする」
怒ると、男は自信ありげにほほえむ。
気味悪いのでドアを閉めようとすると
なぜか完全に閉まらない。
「ドアのところに画鋲を刺したんだ」
兄が教えてくれる。
「どういうつもりだ。警察を呼ぶぞ」
「どうぞ。なんでも呼べばいいでしょ」
いつの間にか鉄のドアが障子戸に替わっている。
男の背後にあるのが鉄のドアだ。
はて、おれはいつの間に後退したのだろう。

Shoji Door
My home like a long and narrow corridor.
The front door chime rang.
Someone seems to have come.
When I try to get out, my brother stands up.
"Stop. Don't leave because it's dangerous."
That may be the case, but if we were just careful,
we would never be able to get out.
"However, I will come out."
When I open the door, there is no one.
I wondered what it was,
and when I tried to close the door,
a man appeared and made some work on the door.
"What do you do?"
When I get angry, he smiles confidently.
I'm a creepy man, so when I try to close the door,
it doesn't close completely for some reason.
"He stabbed a thumbtack at the door."
My brother taught me.
"What are you going to do? I'll call the police."
"Please. You can call anything."
Before I knew it,
the iron door was replaced with a shoji door.
Behind the man is an iron door.
Well, when did I retreat?
